Exclusive & Limited

In this part, I'll be writing about some of the world's most exclusive and limited edition supercars. The supercars that only the ones who makes money by opening factories in third world countries and rewarding the staffs for their hard, neck breaking work by a whopping 50 cents. Starting, with this. . . .

This is the ultimate road legal supercar from Ferrari, the Ferrari F60. To be honest, I find it a bit hard to believe at first when they announced that they had made the ultimate Ferrari because I always think of Ferrari as a scaled down version of god. They were so pleased with the car, they even name it after the founder of the company. It's called, the Ferrari Enzo.

I think this is one of the most exclusive supercar there is. Only 399 of these were ever made. However, you couldn't just choose to buy one, you were chosen by Ferrari. And they would only select you to own this car, if they thought you were worthy. Which means in order to own this car, is like applying for a job. You would need to prepare a neat and cheezy resume and wait for their call. Which also begs the question, why on earth did they selected the people that would end up doing this to their F60s.

But worry not, they may had lost their US$1,610,000, once in a life time supercars, because all of these millionaires were happy to just walk away from the crash as the Enzo is inspired by modern Formula 1 technologies, which therefore behaves like one as well during impact.

Less is More

In the Enzo, you get almost nothing. No stereo, no electric seats, no satellite navigation, no electric windows. There is nothing to distract you from the joy of driving because in the Enzo, that is all you want to do. However, despite the Enzo's body is made from Carbon Fiber, it still weighs in at 1370KG. That's before we get to down-force this car produces. Doing at about 186MPH (300KPH), the Enzo will weigh in more than 2 tonnes.

However, The weight wouldn't matter at all. It's the long front end and the width of the car that you should be worry about. So every time you need to make a sharp corner or driving in a narrow road, you would need to have nuts made of steel to do so.

F1 for The Road?

I really do believe the Enzo is a F1 car in disguise. Simply because of the amazing modern technology it has. Take the F1 style steering wheel for example, there's several red lights on the steering wheels to inform you the exact moment you should change gears. The Ferrari Enzo was also one of the first to have a F1 style shifts.

And when you hit the shift, the on-board computer disengages the clutch, selects a new gear, orders up a burst of torque from the engine to sustain you during the change and firms up the rear suspension to stop the back of the car squatting. It does all that, in 150 milliseconds. It's simply just a stunning piece of work.

Heart of The Stallion

This ultimate V12 stallion produces quite a kick. This 6 speed semi-automatic, RWD supercar is packed with 660HP. Therefore, it goes from 0-60MPH in 3.4 seconds and it keeps on running until it reaches it's top speed of 217MPH (350KPH).

The Million Dollar Question

So now for the ultimate question for the ultimate Ferrari. Is the Enzo worth all that money? Yes. I think it's worth every penny of it. Not only it comes from the land of limitless passion, it is the Alpha Stallion.

And what happens when a jealous bull sees the ultimate stallion?. . . It wanted to be, the ultimate bull.

What you are looking at here is the most exclusive, the most exciting, the most expensive, the fastest Lamborghini ever made. What you are looking at here, is the Lamborghini Reventon. It's named after a legendary fighting bull. And guess where it gets it's design from.

Yep, you guessed it. A Fighter jet plane, but not just any plane. It's the famous F22 Raptor fighter jet. Which means that it's the first car that comes out from production with a matte paint finish.

Heart of The Bull

The most powerful and last Murcielago ever built, the LP670-4 Super Veloce has a V12 that produces 670HP. The AWD, 6-speed manual Reventon however, has a 6.5L V12 that produces. . . 30HP less than the SV at 640HP.

Goes Like A Jet

However despite that, 0-60MPH comes in at 3.4 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds quicker than the SV. And the bull runs at a top speed of 212MPH (341KPH), similar as to the SV. Welcome everyone to the fastest bull in the world, or slowest jet plane in the world.

Built Like A Jet

To be honest, it's not even desperately pretty. Every part of the Reventon is more or less purpose-built. For instance, The Carbon Fiber fins of the wheels are not only for show, it sucks-in air to cool the Carbon Ceramic brakes.

The interior of the car is as well built as the exterior. It just looks really serious and purpose-built. The dashboard is something I guarantee you it's the world's first and only you've ever seen before. Until China lay their eyes on it. It's design like a fighter jet's dashboard, which means that it's really cool and not understandable.

Is It Bull?

For you to own one is completely impossible due to 2 main reasons. Only 20 Reventons will be built, and all 20 have already been purchased even before it went into production. For all that bull, does comes with a price. US$1,370,000.

But if your given a chance to be one of the lucky 20 people, would you want one? No doubt that it's an amazing piece of passion and engineering by Lamborghini. But what annoys me is that, the Reventon is meant to be the most exclusive Lamborghini. Yet again, it's based on a Murcielago and that's yours for US$245,000. Also, you would expect the Reventon to be faster than almost any car there is, and yet it's faster than a Murcielago by only a bit. So would I get one? No, I'd get a SV.

It Goes Topless

Not long from now, Lamborghini will be releasing a convertible version of the Reventon. The Lamborghini Reventon Roadster. Which, when this is out, will be Lamborghini's finest. A V12 that packs 661HP. Therefore, the AWD, 6 speed sequential gears Bull goes from 0-60MPH in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 205MPH (330KPH) which you may know, is just staggering for a convertible as without a roof, the whole aerodynamics of any car would be ruined.

However, it would be more likely for you to be killed by a meteorite or get struck by lighting twice than it is for you to ever being able to see this rare bull in person as only 10 of these will be made, and will cost US$1,600,000 each. But I do still maintain, getting a SV or just a regular Murcielago in fact, would still be my decision.

This is the super rare supercar from Pagani, if such thing exists. It's called, the Pagani CInque.

His Legacy

The great Horacio Pagani, now the proud founder/CEO/President (or whatever more he wishes to call himself) of the supercar company. The company that produces one of the most stunning supercars the world had laid it's eyes on.

However, before becoming one of the gods of the supercar world. He started off as a nobody, as one of the thousands workers for Lamborghini. As he has a great passion towards cars, in 1992, he decided to quit his dead-end job and decided to start his own company. Challenging the lords of supercars, Ferrari and Lamborghini. When Enzo and Ferruccio heard about this, they basically laughed so hard that they died, because many had attempted this and it was suicide.

19 years later, that has not happened yet. Pagani now produces one of the world's best and exclusive supercars there is. It is one of the icon of supercars. Pagani is now the poster little boys have now in their bedroom wall. Lamborghini and Ferrari had lost that title.

The Final Zonda

Designwise, the Cinque borrowed some traits from the Zonda R, the ultimate track-day supercar by Pagani. This will be the very last Zonda to be in production, soon Pagani will be releasing new models. However, Before this last Zonda dies out, it wants to be heard. If your crazy enough to be bored with Carbon-fibered bodied cars, worry not because Pagani has developed something new for scientists to have wet dreams about. The combination of Carbon Fiber and Titanium, Carbo-Tanium, which is said to be even stronger and lighter than Carbon-Fiber.

The Italian Beast

As of all Zondas, it has a history of having RWD and having a Mercedes-Benz's AMG V12 engines. The Cinque is no different. Pagani was able to extract 678HP from the V12 and therefore, The Cinque has a 6 speed sequential, and 0-60MPH comes in at 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 217MPH (350KPH).

If the acceleration of the Cinque do not impress you, it still have a trick up it's sleeve. Stopping power. Thanks to it's amazing Carbon Ceramic brakes, 124MPH (200KPH) to a stand still, in 4 seconds. It brakes so hard, that it rips your date's clothes right off.

The Dull Side

Now, I always think Pagani's interior are one of the world's finest. They deliberately make everything in the interior exclusive and exotic. But the Cinque however, ruined what Pagani was famous for. Sure it's covered with leather and Carbon Fiber, but it's just feels so dull and depressing.

Worth It?

As a regular Zonda is already exclusive by just making 40. The Cinque however, is limited to just 5 for production. But is this car worth the extra cash? No. It may be made out of a material that's new to planet earth and it's a bit faster than the usual Zonda, but it's just a Zonda with some oomph. Therefore, it's the same story as the Murcielago and the Reventon, It's as good but cost far less. Which is why I rather go for a Zonda F.

Car Goes Wild-er

At times of the recession, what better way for Mr. Pagani to earn a few more millions than releasing a roadster version of the Cinque. The Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster. When this is released, it will be the ultimate Zonda. A 6 speed sequential, RWD super roadster with Mercedes Benz AMG V12 as always, with 678HP and weighing in at 1226KG which translates to 0-60MPH in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 221MPH (356KPH). Now I have to be honest, I am never a fan for roadsters, but I show my full respect for this one. Thats because the design of the roadster is so clever that even when they took the top off, the car remains perfectly aerodynamically stable. Now it is still uncertain how many of these will be in production, but it will have a price tag of US$1,800,000 each.

Lastly, when England heard about all these Italian Supercars, they wanted to have a go at it as well. . . .

The ultimate Aston Martin, the Aston Martin One-77. It's the supercar that has the perfect mixture of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. You probably have not heard of such thing from Aston Martin at all, but it is not because of the facts of you not being awesome. It's simply because they are still considering whether they should let journalists drive it or not.

The engine bay of the car is just magnificent. The RWD, 6 speed automatic One-77 has a V12 engine, which is not surprising for Aston Martins. But there are 700HP at the disposal of your right foot, and that is quite a kick. This is also the only Aston Martin that's able to do 0-60MPH in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 220MPH (345KPH).

The interior of the One-77 is no different than it's engine bay. The One-77's interior lives up to Aston Martin's name.

The downside of the One-77, it's not particularly the best looking one by Aston Martin. The end. But despite that, if you have US$1,600,000 to burn, this would be the ideal supercar to spend it on. Not only 77 of these will be made, but because it's the ultimate Aston Martin. And you can never compare a DB9 or even a DBS with this, because the One-77 is just more powerful, more faster, more everything by a thousand mile.
